National parks, forests, wildlife refuges and other public lands in the United States are national treasures, and the backbone of conservation and the outdoor recreation economy. Any large-scale sell-off of these critical landscapes would be devastating and impact future generations.
We have seen several proposals over the past year that would pave the way for the federal government to eliminate or sell our public lands and parks to the highest bidder, opening the door to development. These measures have been defeated but we must keep up the pressure!
Send your message to Congress now and tell your elected leaders that you oppose selling off federally owned public conservation lands for non-conservation uses. Speak up to keep these public lands in public hands.
